You have stumbled upon the blog of Bree Rody-Mantha. On this blog you will find long-form posts about my experiences in journalism, art, media criticism and social activism.
This isn’t my only blog, but it is certainly the only one in which I take myself seriously.
I am a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an HBA in English and Cultural Studies (min. Women’s Studies). Somehow I managed to get a full-time job as the news editor of a local Toronto magazine.
I have always been passionate about journalism, especially political news. I am an addict of CBC Radio and the Globe and Mail.
If I’m not in my cozy office chair, you will usually find me skipping around Toronto (or Oshawa) with a hot tea to go in my hand and my tablet by my side (I’m the first to willingly admit I’m addicted to technology and social media). I am also an avid climber as well as a dance teacher and choreographer. I am a cat lover, vegetarian and a fitness nut, so it wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility for me to post about those matters either.
Do enjoy yourselves, stick around, and drop me a line — I love making new friends!
